Understanding the foundation of movement for a safe, supportive practice.
Paula’s work focuses on the alignment of mind and body: understanding that we move not only from our muscles and joints, but also from the support of our inner body. While movement or asana can start from the inner or outer body, movement initiated from the inner body increases awareness and vitality.
Her teaching and insights are a fusion of anatomical and kinesiology studies with master teachers including Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, Leslie Kaminoff and Richard Freeman. Paula’s classes are great for beginners as well as seasoned students looking to practice in a way that promotes health and connection, not merely physical exercise.

If you’re new to yoga, this class is for you! It’s also a great yoga class for those with limited flexibility, injuries, and joint issues.
This class is designed to help you understand how to do a pose correctly and how the pose can help you develop flexibility, strength and heal injuries.
Suggested props: yoga blocks, Gertie ball, elastic strap, yoga strap, blanket

Deep Stretch and Tone
Deepen your asana practice
This class builds upon the techniques of Bare Bones Basics to create a solid foundation of Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga styles.
The practice begins with a breath series leading into a sequence of targeted toning exercises. The class continues with a short basic flow of yoga poses that integrate both flexibility, strength and body awareness. The final sequence consists of a few long stretches and a short centering exercise aimed at helping you release on many levels.
